A total of 34 people (28 Enak members and six guests) came together on August 14th for a delicious Thai lunch at Malai Thai Cuisine, an award-winning restaurant mentioned in the 2024 Michelin Guide
and in Thai Select for the best Thai restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. Our gracious hosts were Margaret
Vasna and Ay Ling Liem.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in the joy of our tastebuds. The restaurant’s décor and cuisine brought joy to all our senses. For the price of RM50 per person, we got to enjoy the following:
1. Starters – Vegetable spring rolls and mango salad.
2. Main courses – Featuring pad krapow gai (stir-fried minced chicken with holy basil), Thai
green curry with chicken, and a stir-fried mixed vegetables served with white rice.
3. Desserts – We could choose between these two options: Tub tim grob (water chestnuts in coconut milk) and mango with sticky rice.
4. Drinks – We were offered a pandan (screwpine) drink and water.
