| MEMBERS' APPRECIATION MORNING TEA: Friday, December 3rd, 2022 | ||
| The Ritz Carlton Members’ Appreciation Morning Tea was much awaited and thoroughly enjoyed by the 50 members who gathered at the Patisserie & Lobby Lounge. This was MCG’s way of extending their appreciation to faithful members and committee members for their work throughout the year. Vivin, Corinne and Tajuddin were there to register and validate parking tickets together with Rosemary and Pamela as chaperons. Members took this opportunity to experience the ambience and good food as well as meet friends, old and new. | ||

| The event was officially opened by Ay Ling and Pat, who welcomed and thanked members or their loyalty to MCG during this difficult pandemic times. At 10:40 a.m, morning tea was served. The three tiered display boasted assorted cakes, sandwiches (eggs mayo, cream cheese cucumber and coronation chicken) and vegetarian samosa. Further, plain scones were served with clotted cream and preserves. A free flow of English Breakfast tea or coffee was also available. | ||

| A pleasant surprise awaited the members. The resident harpist of Ritz Carlton, Ms Yukosan, performed for MCG, thanks to the kind initiative by Ms Sally Cheah, Manager of the Lounge. This was an unexpected treat as the relaxing music lent an added touch to the mood and Ms.Yukosan kindly performed pro bono, on her off day. While members were enjoying their foodand music, Tajuddin provided an interesting interlude, introducing 2 rounds of quizzes about facts on MCG. The top 3 winners for each round were selected based on accuracy and speed. | ||
